Standardisation Activities

Objective

The main objective of this WP is to contribute to the generation of new standards that can facilitate the acceptance and utilisation by the market of the developed solutions of CHARISMA. Other objectives are the provision of starting information about Raman-related standards for other WPs, ensuring compatibility and interoperability with what already exists in the market through standards, as well as using the standardisation system as a tool for dissemination of the project results and interaction with the market stakeholders.

Activities

Charisma will engage with existing and developing standards (CEN, ISO)  and standardisation committees (e.g. CEN/TC 352) relevant for the project to transfer the results of the project to future standards. The standardisation tool will be used as a tool for dissemintion of the project results and for interaction with the market stakeholders. Ultimately, the harmonisation of Raman data in spectra and models should lead to the development of new standards for Raman spectroscopy.
