Role in the project

As a high-performance catalyst producer, we are constantly trying to improve the way we make our catalysts. High-performance is tightly linked to the understanding and control of every step during the production of a catalyst. On-line monitoring during production plays a central role in controlling the quality of a product. In the CHARISMA project, we are developing new tools to on-line monitor the synthesis of one of the key components for our high-performance catalysts. By developing this tool, we will not only control the quality but also improve the reproducibility, which ultimately results in a more sustainable production process.

Pablo Beato

Pablo Beato is senior project manager for catalyst and process development and head of the spectroscopy laboratories at Topsoe.

Aino Nielsen

Aino Nielsen is in charge of the daily operations of the Topsoe spectroscopy laboratories, where she is coordinating FTIR, UV-vis and Raman spectroscopic analyses for the development of catalytic and other functional materials.

Søren Birk Rasmussen

Søren Birk Rasmussen is the R&D manager for the Atomic Scale Analysis department at Topsoe and part of the spectroscopy laboratories at Topsoe.
